Goods In and Facilities Officer
We are seeking a Goods In & Facilities Officer to join a busy Estates team. The successful candidate will be reliable, positive, and self-motivated.
The Estates team is responsible for delivering services that ensure the physical environment supports an outstanding experience for employees, students, and visitors.
You will be a proactive team player who takes a flexible approach to work, ensuring the campus is organised, efficient, and welcoming. The role involves managing post room duties, handling incoming and outgoing packages, and overseeing the goods-in area. You will also support wider facilities tasks, such as portering, waste management, and general site upkeep.
As a key point of contact for deliveries and logistical support, your attention to detail and communication skills will be essential. You will liaise with external suppliers, internal teams, and delivery personnel to ensure smooth operations.
The successful candidate will have experience in logistics, postal services, or facilities support. A full UK driving licence is required, as you may be asked to assist with transportation between sites. Experience in customer service and working within a busy facilities environment would be advantageous.
